Education

Education with BCHBC

BCHBC Chapters regularly provide members with practical, and often hands-on education to support safe, enjoyable trail riding and responsible horse ownership.

Education may take the form of guest speakers at regular chapter meetings, covering topics such as fire extinguisher use, bear safety, GPS navigation, saddle fitting, hoof care, and many others.

Chapters also organize clinics and courses for members, including trail first aid, ATV safety, chainsaw safety and certification, packing, and trailer safety. These learning opportunities help build confidence, skills, and leadership within our membership.
